Since 2002, the web-based database «EREC-STRESA» on thermo-physical safety problems of NPP with water-cooled reactor installations has been operating and developing at JSC «EREC». The EREC-STRESA Database is based on state-of-the art information platform STRESA (STorage of REactor SAfety Analysis Data), designed in Joint Research Center of European Community (JRC) for arrangement of reliable and convenient storage of experimental data resulted from the investigation of NPP safety at European full-scale installations (LOBI, FARO, KROTOS, etc.).
The web-based database EREC-STRESA is aimed at the following:
- centralized storage of test data array, supporting documentation and other EREC information materials;
- providing of user-friendly searching and accessing to the experimental data;
- informational support of researching works performed on JSC «EREC»’s test facilities;
- informational support of the development and validation of computer thermo-physical codes in the field of NPP safety.
The web-based database «EREC-STRESA» has following main features:
- the database is accessed via Internet;
- controlled multiple-level accessing to the data;
- access authorization to specific documents is performed locally by responsible of data;
- the data can be stored in various servers across the network;
- on-line visualization of data by means of software package WinGraf is available.
To date, the web-based database EREC-STRESA contains the experimental documents and documentation of the test conditions executed on the thermo-hydraulic test facility – model of the pressurized water reactor (PSB VVER) and the testbed – model of vacuum pressure suppression pool of the accident localization system of the NPP with VVER-440/V-213 reactors (BC V-213). In addition the database has the sections dedicated to computer codes developed by JSC «EREC» for analysis of safety and operation problems of NPP with VVER – BOR3D, VAPEX, STEG and includes the experimental databank on critical effusion for the reactor plant conditions.
The web-based EREC-STRESA database is accessible through global network Internet: http://base.erec.ru.
